FATS

We always feels that fats make us fat. Not only that, we also assume that fats make us feel ill but in reality, fats are needed to keep us healthy.

Indeed, there are two types of fats

  1. ​​The good fats - unsaturated fats which are high in omega 3, 6 and 9.

  2. The bad fats - saturated fats which are high in cholestrol and are partially hydrogenated oils.

The importance of fats.

 

  1. They prevent muscle breakdown.

  2. Fats are high in calories.

  3. Fats are essential for the proper function of brain and heart.

  4. They are necessary for the production of hormones such as. testosterone and growth hormones.
